Individual needs are meet by first finding out what those needs are. In any business or school setting, the needs of each person or department will probably be different. So, the best way to figure out what people need, is to talk to them. Ask them what they need from you. The worst thing you can do is assume that eveyone is receiving everything they need and do nothing. Communication and an open forum is the best way to find out what people need.

Teachers, staff and students are motivated by many things but I think the most important thing is praise and compliments. Of course, you can motiviate by giving rewards like free lunches to teachers and staff or leaving treats in the lounge. You can give students treasure box or candy as a reward but is it a meaningful reward? I think teachers, students and staff would prefer to receive a compliment or praise or even a great job on something other than a treat.
Teachers, students and staff want to know that they are doing a good job. Simple praise can go along way in giving someone the boost they need to continue to strive for the goals they are working towards.
· How are teachers empowered through shared decision making?
Teachers are empowered through shared decision making by allowing each person to share in the decisions rather than making one person responsible for everything.Shared responsibility between teachers allows each peson to have some input without havng the pressure of the entire decision making process on their shoulders. Collaboraton in decision making also gives each teacher the opportunity to see how other people think and explain why they made the decion that they did.
· How would you describe the climate of trust and caring
I think that the climate of trust and caring is something that has to be earned. When you meet and work with new people, it takes time to get to know them and feel like you can care for them and trust them. Being honest with people and showing them that you can be relied on and will follow through with your responsibilities with allow others to feel like they can care and trust you.
